Veg Accounts You MUST Follow!

Instagram is a great way to get new inspiration for the things you love! I learn so many new things following vegetarian Instagram accounts that share new recipes and significant news about plant-based food and celebrity vegans. It’s always fun to share them with my friends or bookmark so I can come back to them later. Quarantine is giving me a lot of extra free time so maybe I'll finally try to make the 27 recipes I have bookmarked :)

3. @PlantBasedJane!

Jane is a vegan blogger from Hoboken who shares easy vegan recipes, especially pasta- which the Italian in me absolutely loves. She is a small blogger like me and very talented, so it would be great to show her some support. Following someone so close to home is so hopeful! It can be harder to go vegan or vegetarian on the East Coast with less restaurant options and inflated prices, but accounts like Plant Based Jane show me that it’s definitely doable- and also delicious! https://www.plantbasedjane.com/

I love this account which I use as an outlet to the veggie community, as well as a great source for healthy drink recipes! My favorite so far is the Better Belly Coconut Mint Smoothie”, which they describe as “full of ingredients that help regulate digestion by stimulating or modifying the presence of stomach acids, and certain nutrient compounds present can protect your insides from dangerous microbes”. Must try!

My favorite account by far is VegNews, which is the world’s #1 plant-based food and lifestyle magazine and the first vegetarian account I ever followed. They spotlight vegan restaurants across the U.S., share news on corporate sustainability, and share delicious, easy-to-make recipes. I could seriously stay on this website for hours!
